Mannich reactions of aldehydes with ketimines is exemplified by isatin‐derived ketimines and cyclic trifluoromethyl ketimines. Primary amine catalysts exhibit either unusual stereoselectivity or reactivity, which is not observable with secondary amine catalysts.
