    The present invention provides a vibration-absorbing rubber composition that is characterized by containing: a rubber component which contains natural rubber or a mixture of natural rubber and a diene-based synthetic rubber as a primary component; bismaleimide; and a metal salt of a dithiocarbamic acid having a benzene ring. According to this vibration-absorbing rubber composition, it is possible to improve changes in static spring and improve permanent compression set while maintaining inherent characteristics such as low dynamic magnification and strength characteristics (hardness, tensile elongation, tensile strength and the like), and this vibration-absorbing rubber composition is useful as a vibration-absorbing member which requires extreme heat resistance, such as an engine mount.

    Disclosed is a rubber composition for footwear. The rubber composition may comprise from 3 phr to 90 phr of a first rubber component, from 5 phr to 100 phr of a second rubber component, from 1 phr to 10 phr of a tackifying resin, from 10 phr to 60 phr of a reinforcing filler component, from 1 phr to about 10 phr of a plasticizer component, from 0.1 phr to 5 phr of a curing component. The rubber composition may exhibit a wet coefficient of friction of from 0.4 to 0.65 when tested in accordance with SATRA TM144, a dry coefficient of friction of from 0.76 to 0.90 when tested in accordance with SATRA TM144, and a DIN abrasion of 140 to 300 when tested in accordance with DIN 53616.

    The invention relates to a method of preparing an intermediate rubber composite and to the intermediate rubber composite thus obtainable. In accordance with the invention, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and slow or semi-fast vulcanization accelerator are added to and mixed with a rubber component prior to the addition of filler. The present invention further relates to a method of preparing a vulcanizable rubber composite, involving the method of preparing an intermediate rubber composite, and to the vulcanizable rubber composite thus obtainable. The present invention yet further relates to a method of producing a cured rubber article, by producing a vulcanizable rubber composite in accordance with the invention and curing the vulcanizable rubber composite. Finally, the present invention concerns the cured rubber article, which is preferably a tire or tire component.
