  Beschrieben werden β-Lactame der allgemeinen Formel in der R1 niederes 2- oder 1-Alkenyl oder eine Gruppe der Formeln worin R4 niederes Alkyl, R9 eine tertiäre niedere, cycloaliphatische oder aliphatische Aminogruppe und n die Zahl 0 oder 1 bedeutet, darstellt, und worin ferner R2 Amino oder eine in Amino überführbare Gruppe und R3 eine niedere organische Gruppe darstellt, wobei, falls R2 Amino bedeutet, R1 niederes 2- oder 1-Alkenyl oder eine der Gruppen (a), (c) und (d) darstellt, sowie deren Herstellung. Diese Verbindungen sind als Zwischenprodukte verwendbar zur Herstellung von antimikrobiell wirksamen B-Lactamen.
