Further, condensation of the thione with 1,2-dibromoethane and 1,3-dibromopropane yields 3-methoxy-7-phenyl-6,7,9,10-tetrahydro-5 H-benzo[h]thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazoline and 3-methoxy-7-phenyl-5,6,7,9,10,11-hexahydrobenzo [h][1,3]thiazino[2,3-b]quinazoline respectively.
