    To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition which has an impact resistance improved by blending of an impact strength improver and which also has an excellent transparency and a good surface hardness. The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition includes, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a resin component containing 55 to 85 percent by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) having a mass average molecular weight of 15,000 to 40,000 and 15 to 45 percent by mass of a (meth)acrylate copolymer (B) which has a mass average molecular weight of 5,000 to 30,000 and which is composed of an aromatic (meth)acrylate unit (b1) and a methyl (meth)acrylate unit (b2) at a mass ratio (b1/b2) of 5 to 50/50 to 95, 1 to 20 parts by mass of an impact strength improver (C). A refractive index nab of the resin component at a wavelength of 589 nm and a refractive index nc of the impact strength improver (C) at a wavelength of 589 nm satisfy the following formula i). Formula i) -0.01 ≤ nab - nc ≤ +0.01

    An aspect of the present invention relates to an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition, which comprises per 100 mass parts of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) comprising an aromatic polycarbonate resin (a1) with a viscosity average molecular weight of 3 x 103 to 2.5 x 104 and an aromatic polycarbonate resin (a2) with a viscosity average molecular weight of 5 x 104 to 9 x 104 in a ratio such that, when a total quantity of aromatic polycarbonate resins (a1) and (a2) is denoted as 100 mass percent, (a1):(a2) = 99 mass percent to 50 mass percent: 1 mass percent to 50 mass percent; 0.01 to 10 mass parts of microparticles (B) selected from the group consisting of polyorganosilsesquioxane microparticles and (meth)acrylic resin microparticles; and 0.005 mass part to 0.1 mass part of a flame retardant (C) in the form of organic sulfonic acid metal salt; wherein a molten resin quantity Q value flowing out of an orifice 1mm in diameter x 10 mm in length at a temperature of 280°C at a load of 1.57 x 107 Pa using a constant-load orifice-type flow tester is equal to or greater than 0.01 cm3/second and equal to or lower than 0.1 cm3/second.

    Provided is an aromatic polycarbonate resin sheet/film which has excellent bending characteristics and surface smoothness. It is found that a sheet having excellent surface smoothness, which cannot be achieved by conventional sheets, can be obtained by adjusting sheet extrusion conditions for a polycarbonate resin sheet/film into which a reinforcing filler is blended. It is also found that a thermally shaped article having excellent appearance can be obtained by using this sheet in pressure molding or in thermal press molding.

    A polycarbonate copolymer or copolymerized polycarbonate blend having excellent amine resistance, which has, as main constituent units, (A) constituent units each represented by the following formula (1): wherein, in the formula (1), each of R1 and R2 is independently a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms and optionally containing an aromatic group, or a halogen atom, (B) constituent units each represented by the following formula (2): wherein, in the formula (2), each of R3 and R4 is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a halogen atom, and X is a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylidene group, a sulfur atom, or an oxygen atom, and (C) constituent units each represented by the following formula (3): wherein, in the formula (3), W represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylidene group, a sulfur atom, or an oxygen atom, wherein the amount of the constituent units (A) is 5 to 15 mol%, the amount of the constituent units (B) is 20 to 60 mol%, and the amount of the constituent units (C) is 25 to 75 mol%, based on the mole of the all constituent units, and the polycarbonate copolymer or copolymerized polycarbonate blend is excellent in scratch resistance, impact resistance, heat resistance, and amine resistance.

    A thermoplastic resin composition including a thermoplastic resin component and a glass filler (C), the thermoplastic resin component including a polycarbonate resin (A) having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 13,000 to 22,000 and a polyester resin (B) including a terephthalic acid residue, a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol residue, and a 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol residue. The amounts of the polycarbonate resin (A) and the polyester resin (B) are 25 to 65 parts by mass and 75 to 35 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the polycarbonate resin (A) and the polyester resin (B). The amount of the glass filler (C) is 10 to 45 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin component. A molded article is produced by performing injection molding of the thermoplastic resin composition with a heat-insulation mold or heat-and-cool molding of the thermoplastic resin composition.
