    The object of the present invention is to provide a method for discriminating between liver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis by serodiagnosis using a simple enzyme immunoassay method without performing histopathological examinations by biopsy and so forth. The present invention discloses an enzyme immunoassay method for cholinesterase using a monoclonal antibody, a method for detecting Aleuria aurantia lectin-reactive cholinesterase using a monoclonal antibody and Aleuria aurantia lectin, and a method for discriminating between liver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis on the basis of those results.

    A bio-electrode composition contains (A) a reaction composite of an ionic polymer material and a carbon particle. The component (A) contains the carbon particle bonding to the polymer containing a repeating unit having a structure selected from the group consisting of salts of ammonium, lithium, sodium, potassium, and silver formed with any of fluorosulfonic acid, fluorosulfonimide, and N-carbonyl-fluorosulfonamide. Thus, the present invention provides: a bio-electrode composition capable of forming a living body contact layer for a bio-electrode which is excellent in electric conductivity and biocompatibility, light-weight, and manufacturable at low cost, and which prevents significant reduction in the electric conductivity even when wetted with water or dried; a bio-electrode including a living body contact layer formed of the bio-electrode composition; and a method for manufacturing the bio-electrode.

    An adhesive composition including a resin and electro-conductive material, wherein the electro-conductive material is an ammonium salt of fluorosulfonic acid having 5 or more carbon atoms shown by the general formula (1): (R1—X—Z—SO3−)n Mn+ (1), wherein, R1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms and optionally substituted by a heteroatom or optionally interposed by heteroatom; X represents any of a single bond, ether group, ester group, and amide group; Z represents an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, containing 1 to 6 fluorine atoms, and optionally containing a carbonyl group; Mn+ represents a cation having one or two ammonium cation structures. This can form a living body contact layer for a bio-electrode with excellent electric conductivity, biocompatibility, and light weight, which manufactures at low cost and does not cause large lowering of the electric conductivity even when it is wetted with water or dried.

    The present invention provides a bio-electrode composition including: a resin containing a urethane bond in a main chain and a silsesquioxane in a side chain; and an electro-conductive material, wherein the electro-conductive material is a polymer compound having one or more repeating units selected from fluorosulfonic acid salts shown by the following general formulae (1)-1 and (1)-2, sulfonimide salts shown by the following general formula (1)-3, and sulfonamide salts shown by the following general formula (1)-4. This can form a living body contact layer for a bio-electrode that is excellent in electric conductivity and biocompatibility, light in weight, manufacturable at low cost, and free from large lowering of the electric conductivity even when it is wetted with water or dried. The present invention also provides a bio-electrode in which the living body contact layer is formed from the bio-electrode composition, and a method for manufacturing the bio-electrode.
