A radiation curable composition including
a) at least one monomer comprising at least one vinyl ether group and at least one (meth)acrylate group; and
b) at least one diffusion hindered photoinitiator selected from the group consisting of a polymeric photoinitiator, a multifunctional photoinitiator and a polymerizable photoinitiator
characterized in that the diffusion hindered photoinitiator comprises at least one structural moiety according to Formula (I):
wherein:
R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group, a halogen, an ether, a thioether, an aldehyde, a ketone, an ester, an amide, an amine and a nitro group;
R1 and R2 may represent the necessary atoms to form a five to eight membered ring; and
the dotted line represents the covalent bond of the structural moiety according to Formula (I) to the diffusion hindered photoinitiator.
An inkjet printing method using the radiation curable composition is also disclosed.
