There is provided an adhesive that shows excellent adhesion under high temperature even when any one of a glass and a thermoplastic resin is used as an adherend.
An adhesive according to an embodiment of the present invention is used for an adherend that includes a glass and/or a resin layer comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) , and the adhesive including:
a thermoplastic resin (b);
a thermosetting monomer (c); and
a curing catalyst,
wherein:
the thermoplastic resin (b) includes an aromatic thermoplastic resin (b1) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of more than 200°C and/or an alicyclic thermoplastic resin (b2) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of more than 200°C;
the thermosetting monomer (c) has compatibility with the thermoplastic resin (b); and
a content of the thermosetting monomer (c) is from 5 parts by weight to 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin (b).
