Ionicliquid [bmim]BF4 was found to be an efficient and recyclablereactionmedium for the one‐pot synthesis of pyrido[2,3‐d]pyrimidines. The structures of the products were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, and HRMS spectra. This method had the advantages of easier work‐up, milder reaction conditions, high yields, and environmentally benign procedure.
