  The conformation of the imidazolidine ring in the title compound, C21H17N3O, is almost flat with a maximum deviation of +/- 0.031(8) Angstrom from the least-squares plane through the ring. The structure is stabilized by an intermolecular hydrogen bond. This type of compound can be used in addition reactions with isocyanates.
