  The present invention relates to carboxamide derivatives. More particularly, it relates to N-(2-alkyleneimino-3-phenylpropyl)acetamide derivatives of formula (I): and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, RA, RB, RC, X and n are as defined in the description. The N-(2-alkyleneimino-3- phenylpropyl)acetamide derivatives of the present invention modulate the activity of the TrpA1 ion channel. They are useful in the treatment of a number of conditions, including pain and pruritus.
