The stabilizer compositions are effective in enhancing the resistance to deterioration by heat and light of halogen-containing polymers and especially polyvinyl halide resins. The β-diketone and hydrotalcite in these compositions exhibit a synergistic stabilizing effectiveness superior to either alone in like amount.
