  Three-component coupling of carbonyl compounds, homoallylic alcohols, and nitrites has been achieved using 20 mol % of phosphomolybdic acid (PMA) at ambient temperature via the Prins-Ritter sequence to furnish 4-amidotetrahydropyrans in high yields with all cis selectivity.
