Reductive Amination of Aldehydes and Ketones Under Heterogeneous and Solvent-Free Conditions Using Sodium-Borohydride and Silica-Gel–Supported Sulfuric Acid
Abstract A regioselective and convenient procedure for preparation of amines by reductiveamination of aldehydes and ketones using sodium borohydride in the presence of sulfuric acid supported on silicagel as an active, inexpensive, and recoverable catalyst under heterogeneous and solvent-free conditions at room temperature is described.

Abstract The use of the BOC group as a protecting group in the hydroboration of aminoalkenes is described. The isolated yields of amino alcohols via the hydroboration-oxidation sequence are excellent.
(Dicyclopentadiene) platinum(II) dichloride was found to be an efficient hydrosilylation catalyst (homogeneous) upon a wide variety of functionalized alkenes and alkenes terminated with chemical moieties (diphenyl amino-, N-carbazol- and N-isoindoline-1,3-dione-). It is noteworthy that the hydrosilylation of aminated alkenes with triethoxysilane exhibited the yield of over 70% and the selectivity (γ-isomer/β-isomer)
