雄激素及同化激素类药

雄性激素主要是由性腺(睾丸)合成的一类内分泌激素,其主要负责男性副性器官如附睾、前列腺及阴茎的发育,并促进胡须和阴毛的生长,维持男性的性欲。此外,它还能调节全身代谢,通过强大的蛋白质合成作用使机体处于氮正平衡状态,在儿童期表现尤为显著。

具体来说,雄性激素能够促进骨骼肌和骨胳中钙盐沉积,加速骨胳增厚与生长;同时增加基础代谢率,刺激红细胞生成等。其机制为睾酮进入前列腺、附睾等靶细胞后,转化为5α-二氢睾酮,并与其细胞浆中的特异受体非共价结合,进而产生活性复合物,最终作用于染色质的非组蛋白,促进核糖核酸和蛋白质合成。

值得注意的是,一些睾丸素衍生物虽然雄激素活性减弱,但同化作用仍然显著。这类化合物被称为同化激素,能够明显促进蛋白质合成、增加肌肉发达程度和体重,并增强免疫球蛋白的合成,提升机体免疫力与抗感染能力。它们还能刺激骨髓造血机能及肾脏分泌促红细胞生成素和正铁血蛋白。

这些药物常用于治疗再生障碍性贫血以及老年骨质疏松症等疾病。
