    The invention is related to a photocationic curable composition comprising c) a compound having (a-1) an epoxy alicyclic structure selected from the group consisting of epoxy norbornene structure and 2,3-epoxy-1,4,5,8-dimethanonaphtalene structure, and (a-2) oxetane structure, wherein the epoxy alicyclic structure(a-1) is bonded to the oxetane structure(a-2) via a polyvalent organic group selected from the group consisting of an alkylene group, an alkylene ether group, and an alkylene thioether group, wherein the atom number between the structure(a-1) and the structure(a-2) is within the range of 1 to 8, or via a phenylene containing divalent organic group, and d) a photoinitiator. The cured product of the present invention exhibits high hardness. Therefore, the composition of the present invention is suitable for UV-inks, coatings, or adhesives.

    It is an object of the present invention to provide: a curable composition that has photocurability and provides a cured product excellent in insulating properties; and the cured product. This can be achieved by a photocurable composition that contains, as essential components, (A) a modified polyorganosiloxane compound having a photopolymerizable functional group and an SiH group, (B) a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. A thin film produced from the curable composition of the present invention has excellent insulating properties. Since the curable composition of the present invention can form a film by solution coating, it is applicable to provide thin-film insulating materials that can be formed by solution coating.

    A flame-retardant resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin; a flame retardant comprising a phosphorus-containing compound (A), a aromatic resin (B), and at least one flame-retardant auxiliary (C) selected from a nitrogen-containing compound and a metal salt of an inorganic acid; and at least one stabilizer auxiliary (D) selected from a compound having a functional group reactive to an active hydrogen atom and a water-repellent compound. The phosphorus-containing compound may be a phosphoric ester. The aromatic resin may be a polyphenylene sulfide-series resin or a polyphenylene oxide-series resin. The nitrogen-containing compound is a salt of an amino group-containing triazine compound with an oxygen acid, a salt of an amino group-containing triazine compound with a hydroxyl group-containing triazine compound, a polyphosphoric acid amide, a cyclic urea compound, or others. The present invention provides a flame-retardant resin composition which has been flame-retarded without using a halogen-containing flame retardant.
