The synthesis of some novel crown and thiacrown ethers via the reaction of 2,3-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) or 2,3-bis(4-mercaptophenyl)quinoxalines and pyridopyridazine with diethylene and triethylene glycol ditosylate is described.
