The invention is related to a photocationic curable composition comprising
c) a compound having
(a-1) an epoxy alicyclic structure selected from the group consisting of epoxy norbornene structure and 2,3-epoxy-1,4,5,8-dimethanonaphtalene structure, and
(a-2) oxetane structure,
wherein the epoxy alicyclic structure(a-1) is bonded to the oxetane structure(a-2) via a polyvalent organic group selected from the group consisting of an alkylene group, an alkylene ether group, and an alkylene thioether group, wherein the atom number between the structure(a-1) and the structure(a-2) is within the range of 1 to 8, or via a phenylene containing divalent organic group, and
d) a photoinitiator.
The cured product of the present invention exhibits high hardness. Therefore, the composition of the present invention is suitable for UV-inks, coatings, or adhesives.
