  (EN) A method of preparing substituted and unsubstituted 1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-2 and -3 quinolinic carboxylic acids which comprises heating an ester selected from the group consisting of substituted and unsubstituted anilinomethylenemalonates, anilinofumurates, anilinomaleates and mixtures thereof in the presence of chlorosulfonic acid, oleum and mixtures thereof.(FR) Un procédé permet de préparer des acides 1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-2 et 3 carboxyliques quinoliniques substitués et non substitués. Il consiste à chauffer un ester choisi dans le groupe constitué des anilinométhylènemalonates, anilinofumurates, anilinomaléates substitués et non substitués, ainsi que leurs mélanges, en présence d'acide chlorosulfonique, d'oléum et de leurs mélanges.
