Reaction of 1,5‐benzothiazepines 3, obtained from chalcones 2 and o‐aminobenzenthiol, with the (phenylhydrazino) chloromethylenecarboxylates 4 in the presence of Et3N leads to a series of new [1,2,4]triazolo[5,4‐d][1,5]benzothiazepine derivatives 5.
