We describe herein the use of Calcium, Barium and Strontium hydroxyapatites (CaHAp, BaHAp and SrHAp) as well as CaHAp containing Magnesium, Copper, Zinc and Palladium (MgHAp, CuHAp, ZnHAp and PdHAp) as catalysts in the Biginelli reaction.
