The thermal energy reactions of the gaseous ion CO+2 with the neutral reactants O2, H2, CH4, CH3Cl, NO, H2S, COS, SO2 and NH3 have been studied at 298 K using a selected ion flow tube (SIFT) apparatus. Reaction rate coefficients and, where appropriate, product ion branching ratios have been determined.
