Previously we investigated the antiarrhythmic and adrenolytic properties of compounds in which two well-known pharmacophore fragments, 1,4-benzodioxanyl2-ethyl [1] and a-aminopropanol [2], were linked by various bridging groups, including oxygen (-O-), oximine (=N-O), or amide (-NH-C(O)-).
