  The invention relates to a thickened aqueous composition incorporating an amine or diamine, carrying at least one nitrogen linked hydrocarbon group which represents a saturated or unsaturated linear or branched alkyl group having at least 10 carbon atoms and preferably 16-24 carbon atoms or an aryl, aralkyl or alkaryl group containing up to 24 carbon atoms, and wherein the optional other nitrogen linked groups are formed by optionally substituted alkyl groups, aryl groups or aralkyl groups or polyalkoxy groups, or wherein the amine is in the form of a heterocyclic ring, con­taining at least two nitrogen atoms, one of which being substituted by amino (lower) alkyl or hydroxy (lower) alkyl, while the ring is further bearing a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl preferably reacted with fatty acids, or alkenyl group having at least 10 carbon atoms; cumene sulphonate, xylene sulphonate, toluene sulphonate or mixtures thereof, in their acid or salt form; and a weak acid having a pK value > 2,0; and water, wherein optionally one or more cleaning desinfecting and/or odourizing agents may be dissolved or dispersed. The invention also relates to premix compositions composed of above-men­tioned amines and sulphonates, from which the thickened aqueous composi­tions can be prepared by dilution with water or an aqueous solution or suspension and to a process for cleaning non-horizontal surfaces.

  A low viscosity aqueous cleaning composition provides increasing viscosity upon dilution which provides a high viscosity diluted cleaning composition having solvents compatible with the rod micelle thickener and the cleaning system that clings for an extended period of time in a thickened form containing cleaning system ingredients that can penetrate and remove hard baked-on soils on vertical surfaces in cleaning units. The composition contains active cleaning ingredients (acid, alkaline and enzyme) that, in combination with thickening systems, provide the useful properties. The thickened materials can be applied on cold or hot surfaces and can successfully penetrate, soften and remove baked-on food soil on a variety of surfaces including oven walls, doors and grills, baking dishes, utensils, etc. The material is applied in the form of a thick diluted liquid spray or hot foam directly to the hardened soil, is permitted to penetrate the soil, resulting softened soils are then easily removed by hot or cold water rinse or by mechanical action such as scrubbing, scraping or wiping.

  The present invention involves the addition of an aspartic acid derivative and a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol to a base oil of, e.g., mineral oil or synthetic oil type. By including these additives, a lubricating oil composition having excellent rust-preventing properties, reduced friction coefficient and excellent energy-saving properties and so being suitable for industrial lubricating oils can be obtained. Also, by further adding an epoxy compound and by adding also a fatty acid amine, it is possible to obtain a lubricating oil composition even more endowed with rust-preventing properties and energy-saving properties.
