Abstract Cross-coupling reactions of diarylketones with imines promoted by ytterbium metal were described. β-Amino alcohols were prepared in good yields under mild and neutral conditions.

The cross-coupling reactions of imines with ketones using Ti(OiPr)4/c-C5H9MgCl reagent lead to 1,2-amino alcohols after hydrolysis. The coupling reactions with aldehydes could also afford 1,2-amino alcohols, however, in some cases, aziridines were obtained as major products in a stereoselective manner.
使用Ti(O i Pr)4 / c -C 5 H 9 MgCl试剂使亚胺与酮的交叉偶联反应在水解后生成1,2-氨基醇。与醛的偶联反应也可以得到1,2-氨基醇,但是,在某些情况下,以立体选择的方式获得了氮丙啶作为主要产物。
