chemical process—the copolymerization of biomass (glucose) and boric acid as templated by dicyandiamide (see picture)—was used to fabricate high‐quality doped graphene monoliths with through‐plane nanopores. The holey graphene monoliths had a high surface area and showed excellent performance as metal‐freecarbocatalysts for selective oxidation.
