[RhCl(PPh3)3], [RhCl(CO)(PPh3)2], [RhCl(CO)2]2, [Rhac2]2 and [RhCl3(MeCN)3] were treated with the ligands o-benzene dithiolate(2 −), o-methylthiobenzene thiolate(1 −) and 2,3,8,9-dibenzo-1,4,7,10-tetrathiadecanate(2 −) (= dttd2−) to give NMe4[Rh(PPh3)2(S2C6H4)] (1), NMe4[Rh(CO)(PPh3)(S2C6H4)] (3a), NMe4[Rh(CO)2(S2C6H4)] (5), [Rh(PPh3)2(SC6H4SCH3)] (2), [Rh(CO)-(PPh3)(SC6H4SCH3)] (4), [Rh(SC6H4SCH3)2]2 (7), [Rh(dttd)]2
