A light source unit includes: a light emitting body; and a color conversion film including an organic luminescent material configured to convert at least a part of incident light incident from the light emitting body into light having a wavelength longer than a wavelength of the incident light. The light emitting body includes a light source, and a layer including a green phosphor and formed on the light source. The organic luminescent material has a light emission wavelength peak in a wavelength region of 580 nm or longer and 750 nm or shorter.

A color conversion composition converting incident light to light having a longer wavelength than the incident light, and containing the following components (A)-(C): (A) at least one luminescent material; (B) a binder resin; and (C) at least one of tertiary amines, catechol derivatives and nickel compounds, in which the tertiary amines, the catechol derivatives and the nickel compounds have a molar extinction coefficient ε of 100 or less over the whole wavelength range from 400 nm to 800 nm is provided. This color conversion composition achieves a good balance between improvement of color reproducibility and durability if used for a liquid crystal display or an LED lighting device.

Layer (A): a color conversion layer as a continuous layer containing at least one organic light-emitting material and a binder resin; and
Layer (B): a transparent resin layer with an oxygen permeability of 1.0 cc/m2·day·atm or less.

A pyrromethene-boron complex is a compound represented by general formula (1).
In general formula (1), X is C—R7 or N. R1 to R9 are each a group selected from prescribed groups, where R2 and R5 are selected from among the groups other than a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group and a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group. R2 and R5 are groups not containing a heteroaryl group with at least two condensed rings. At least one of R1 to R6 is a group containing a fluorine atom.
