C(sp2)−H phosphorothiolation involving cyclization process through a transition-metal-free strategy is reported. It provides an attractive approach for the construction valuable S-3-chromon phosphorothioates from o-hydroxyarylenaminones and P(O)SH compounds in the presence of 1.0 equiv. of iodine at 60 °C. This novel protocol shows readily available chemicals, broad substrate scope, and mild reaction
sulfonyl chlorides as radical precursors and (RO)2P(O)SH as coupling partners, a wide range of decorated β-sulfonyl phosphorothioates could be obtained in 37–98% yields with good functional group tolerance. Importantly, this three-component reaction can be conveniently extended to late-stage modification of bioactive molecules and gram-scale synthesis.

Novel nereistoxin derivatives containing phosphonate were synthesized and characterized via 31P, 1H and 13C NMR and HRMS. The anticholinesterase activity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated on human acetylcholinesterase (AChE) using the in vitro Ellman method. Additive concentrates, lubricating oil compositions and the use thereof are described. The compositions comprise one or more of each of the following oil-soluble additive components: a) a Mannich base ashless dispersant; b) a metal-free sulphur-containing antiwear and/or extreme pressure agent; c) a metal-free phosphorus-containing and nitrogen-containing antiwear and/or extreme pressure agent; and optionally but preferably, d) an amine salt of a carboxylic acid. Oils containing such additive components exhibit excellent performance under heavy duty service such as in the planetary spur gear test. In addition, such oils exhibit good demulsibility in the ASTM D1401 test procedure and good clean gear performance in the CRC L-60 test.

There is provided an oxidant dopant agent for conductive polymer production, and a solution thereof, in which they are capable of producing a conductive polymer suitable in producing an electrolyte capacitor having a low leak current. There is also provided a conductive polymer prepared by using either of them. There is also provided an electrolyte capacitor having a low leak current. The oxidant dopant agent includes: an organic ferric sulfonate; and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, phosphate, phosphorous acid, phosphite, boric acid, borate, thiophosphoric acid, thiophosphate, dithiophosphoric acid and dithiophosphate. The solution includes the oxidant dopant agent dissolved in water, an alcohol or a mixture of water and an alcohol. A conductive polymer is prepared by means of oxidation polymerization of a monomer such as thiophene or its derivative. The conductive polymer is used as an electrolyte to provide an electrolyte capacitor.
