The invention relates to a binder composition based on an acrylate polymer and a crosslinking agent based on an acetoacetate compound.
The acrylate polymer is an amine, ketimine or aldimine-functional acrylate polymer with a hydroxyl number lower than 100 mg KOH/gramme and an amine number of between 10 and 150 mg KOH/gramme and the crosslinking agent is a low molecular weight polyacetoacetate.

Abstract A new method for the dealkoxycarbonylation of malonate esters and β-ketoesters, involving an enzyme catalyzed hydrolysis followed by a high temperature Kugelroher distillation, is described.
