  Die neuen Verbindungen Aminomethyl-, Bis(aminomethyl)- und Tris (aminomethyl)-cyclododecan der Formel worin n für 1, oder 3 steht, in Form der Einzelverbindungen oder ihrer Gemische, werden hergestellt, indem man Cyclododecatrien- 1,5,9 mit Kohlenmonoxid und Wasserstoff in Gegenwart eines Rhodium-haltigen Katalysators, z.B. ein Gemisch aus Tris-(dibenrylsulfid)- trischlor-Rhodium und Dikobaltoctacarbonyl, bei z.B. 200 bar und 110°C zum Mono-, Bis- oder Triformylcyclododecan der Formel worin n obige Bedeutung hat, in Form der Einzelverbindungen oder ihrer Gemische, umsetzt und dieses anschließend in Gegenwart von Ammoniak hydriert, z.B. bei 120 bar und 110°C in Anwesenheit von Raney-Kobalt. Die neuen Verbindungen der Formel (I) eignen sich als Korrosionsschmelzmittel in Heizölen, Schmierstoffen oder Treibmitteln auf Kohlenwasserstoff-Basis; ferner stellen sie Vernetzer bzw. Kettenverlängerungsmittel für Epoxidharze bzw. NCO-Präpolymere dar.
