  Trans- and cis-4-cyclohexyl-but-3-one-2-one have been prepared. The comparison of their physical and chemical properties gave results analogous to those obtained with the trans- and cis-forms of dec-3- ene-2-one, hept-3-ene-2-one, and 4-phenyl-but-3-ene-2-one, described in two previous palpers.
