Herein, a novel method for the gram-scale synthesis of (E)-quinoxalinone oximes through a multicomponent reaction undermildconditions is described. Such a transformation was performed under transition-metal-free conditions, affording (E)-oximes in a moderate-to-good yield through recrystallization.
