  P-diphenylarylsulfophosphamides can be obtained by condensation of Ph2PLi on various arylsulfonyl chlorides. These sulfonamide phosphorus analogues exhibit facile cathodic cleavage reaction yielding, after quenching, diphenylphosphinic acid and aryl sulfide. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
