    Novel perfluoropolyether derivatives are described which are obtained from perfluoropolyethers having a carboxyl group at one or both ends and monoamines or diamines. The derivative is useful as a lubricant owing to its significantly improved lubricity. The lubricity is shown under severe high or low temperature and humidity conditions over a long term. The derivative is especially useful as a lubricant for magnetic recording mediums of the coating and metal thin film types.

    The present invention relates to: (1) a catalyst for producing a rigid polyurethane foam by means of at least one blowing agent selected from the group consisting of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (HFC-245fa), 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane (HFC-365mfc) and a low boiling point hydrocarbon, which comprises: (A) an aliphatic amine compound and at least one amine compound selected from the group consisting of triethylenediamine, N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-1,6-hexanediamine and N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine: or (B) an amine compound having an alkyl ether group and/or an aryl ether group in its molecule; (2) a catalyst for producing a rigid polyisocyanurate foam by means of at least one blowing agent selected from the group consisting of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (HFC-245fa), 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane (HFC-365mfc) and a low boiling point hydrocarbon, which comprises an aliphatic amine compound and a polyisocyanurate catalyst and (3) a process for producing a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in the adhesive strength and flame retardancy of the foam and (4) a process for producing a rigid polyisocyanurate foam excellent in the flame retardancy, adhesive strenght and dimensional stability of the foam.

    A lubricative composition for industrial machinery and equipment which comprises a base oil selected from among mineral oils, fats and oils, synthetic oils and mixture of two or more of them, and at least one additive selected from among the following components (A) to (D): component (A): (A-1) a phosphorus-containing carboxylic acid and/or (A-2) a thiophosphoric ester, component (B): a dispersant viscosity index improver, component (C): (C-1) a specific amidocarboxylic acid compound and/or (C-2) a specific carboxylic acid compound, and component (D): an ester oiliness improver. The composition is favorable as a lubricating oil composition and useful as a gear oil composition, a lubricating oil composition for paper machines or a lubricating oil composition for slide guides, a hydraulic oil, or the like.

    Disclosed is an inkjet image forming method using active energy ray curable ink which has excellent printing durability, gloss uniformity on coated paper, and suitability for paper feeding, and which resists being transferred to the reverse side when printed pages are stored in a stack where the printed sections come into contact with another printed page; also disclosed is an inkjet ink set. The inkjet image forming method is characterized by applying to a base material, then heating, a colorless ink not containing a colorant but containing an active energy ray curable composition and a gelling agent which forms a thermoreversible gel, and thereafter irradiating said colorless ink with active energy rays.
