  spectroscopy, conductimetry, and potentiometry. The dme solvates, when treated with nitries or bipy, yield a series of cationic dinitrosylmolybdenum complexes. Some of the dicationic complexes catalyse the polymerisation of norbornadiene. The characterization of all new complexes is described.
