bis-Bidenticity of 2,4-Dihydroxy-5-acetylacetophenone and Its Derivatives with Divalent Nickel and Copper
摘要:
Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes of 2,4-dihydroxy-5-acetylacetophenone (H2L), 2,4-dihydroxy-5-acetylacetophenone dihydrazone (H2L') and 2,4-dihydroxy-5-acetylacetophenonedioxime (H2L") were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements, UV-Vis and IR spectral studies. H2L' and H2L" were synthesized by the reaction of H2L with hydrazine hydrate and hydroxylamine, respectively, and were characterized using elemental analyses, mass and IR spectral data. The ligands behave as dibasic bis-bidentates yielding polymeric complexes. The coordination is octahedral for all complexes except NiL' which is square-planar.
