Two new hydroxyketones, 4-hydroxyheptadecan-7-one and 5-hydroxyoctadecan-11-one, along with 5,7,4′-trimethoxy- 4-phenylcoumarin, exostemin, matairesinol and d -mannitol have been isolated from leaves of Chiococcaalba and identified by spectral data and chemical studies.
