Three new six-coordinate transition metal (Cu, Co, Ni) complexes of ligand 1,3-bis(2-benzimidazyl) -2-thiapropane (L), with compositions [M(L) 2 ](pic) 2 · nH 2 O, (M = Cu, Co, Ni; n = 2, 0.5, 2), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, electrical conductivities, IR, and UV-visible measurements.
