reaction of CF3SE(CH3)2 compounds (E = N, As) with Mn2(CO)10. The reasons for the different behaviour of the CF3SX compounds are discussed. By the reaction of NaMn(CO)5 with CF3SCl the intermediate product Mn(CO)5SCF3 could not be isolated even at low temperature (20°); besides (I), (CF3S)2 and Mn2(CO)10 are formed as products of a redox-reaction.
