The first synthesis of 2,9-disubstituted cis-2,3а,7b,9,10a,14b-hexaazaperhydrodibenzotetracenes has been accomplished through intermolecular heterocyclization of N,N-bis(methoxymethyl)alkylamines with cis-1,6,7,12-tetraazaperhydrotetracene in the presence of SmCl3·6H2O catalyst or by recyclization of 1,3,5-tricycloalkyl-1,3,5-triazinanes with cis-1,6,7,12-tetraazaperhydrotetracene in the presence of
