N(CH3)3 as well as C2H5N(CH3)2. Evidence is presented that, in the former case, the C2F5 compounds are formed by ·CF3 attack on partly fluorinated trimethylamines NC3F9−nHn, n = 1 to 3. The compounds have been characterized by analytical, nmr and vibrational spectroscopic methods.
