Supramolecular Complexes of 3-Epi-2-deoxyecdysone with Cyclodextrins and Their Anti-Inflammatory Activity
摘要:
The ecdysteroid 3-epi-2-deoxyecdysone has been isolated from the aerial part of Acanthophyllum gypsophiloides Regel. The complexes formation of the ecdysteroid with -, -, -, and 2-hydroxypropyl--cyclodextrins has been studied by means of NMR spectroscopy. Anti-inflammatory activity of the obtained 3-epi-2-deoxyecdysone complexes with cyclodextrins has been investigated.

Then present invention provides new and useful derivatives of phyto-derived tetracyclic compounds possessing steroidal-like activity, and in some instances both amino acid/oligo-peptide and steroidal-like activity, uses thereof and methods of production.
A steroid derivative is used as a blood flow amount-improving agent, which is blended with a cosmetic preferably in a ratio of 0.000001 to 10 % by weight with respect to a total amount of the cosmetic.
An ecdysterone compound is described. An ecdysterone compound may include ecdysterone and decanoic acid. An ecdysterone compound may further include ecdysterone and isobutyric acid. An ecdysterone compound may comprise a physiologically active salt or ester of ecdysterone. An ecdysterone compound may further comprise a physiologically active salt or ester of decanoic acid. Alternatively, an ecdysterone compound may include a physiologically active salt or ester of isobutyric acid.

Applicants have discovered novel steroid feeding inhibitors for
Apis
sp. that can be used in connection with traditional insecticide, pesticide, fungicide or other pest management protocols. The rapid decline of
Apis
sp. is devastating to the many crops which rely upon the bees, particularly honey bees (
Apis melliofera
) for pollination. Further it has been postulated that colony collapse disorder, may be the result of unintended ingestion by honey bees of insecticide, pesticide, fungicide compositions applied to nearby feeding sources for the bees. Thus, honey bee feeding inhibitors can be used in a pest management system to prevent unintended consequences to honey bees.
