    The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for laminated glass which prevents a double image phenomenon in a specific area of laminated glass and enables display of high contrast images at a luminance within a certain range. The present invention also aims to provide a laminated glass including the interlayer film for laminated glass. The present invention relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass, having a multilayer structure including a luminescent layer and a resin layer on at least one surface of the luminescent layer. The luminescent layer contains a thermoplastic resin, a plasticizer, and a luminescent material. The resin layer contains a thermoplastic resin and a plasticizer. The interlayer film for laminated glass has a wedge-shaped cross-sectional shape. The luminescent layer has a difference between the maximum thickness and the minimum thickness of 100 µm or less.

    A thermoplastic film 10 is a thermoplastic film comprising a light-emitting layer 11, wherein the light-emitting layer 11 comprises a thermoplastic resin and a light-emitting material that emits light by being irradiated with excitation light, and a change in yellowness of laminated glass obtained by bonding two sheets of clear glass in accordance with JIS R 3211(1998) having a thickness of 2.5 mm with the thermoplastic film interposed therebetween after conducting a light resistance test for 2000 hours based on JIS R3205 2005 is 4 or less. The present invention provides a thermoplastic film comprising a light-emitting material, in which the emission intensity is unlikely to lower even when the thermoplastic film is exposed to ultraviolet rays for a long period of time.

  • Fragment Ligated Inhibitors Selective for the Polo Box Domain of PLK1

    Methods for developing non-peptidic inhibitors that target the polo-box domain of PLK1 proteins are described. Methods include developing structure activity relationships for peptidic inhibitors followed by development of non-peptide fragment alternatives for portions of the peptide inhibitors. The non-peptide fragment can provide similar structure activity relationship as the replaced peptide. Fragment alternatives to key binding determinants are identified in an iterative computational and synthetic process facilitated through understanding of the peptide structure-activity relationships. The approach is informed by peptide structure-activity data obtained through synthesis and testing of truncated and mutated analogs of known PBD binding motifs.
