An efficient one-pot, three-component synthesis of quinazolinone derivativescontaining 3-acrylamino motif was carried out using CeO2 nanoparticles as catalyst. An eco-friendly procedure for synthesis of 2-substituted-3-(phenylamino)-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones by three-component reactions, with bentonite as a low cost and reusable catalyst under ultra sonic irradiation, is described. The novel method offers several advantages, such as high yields, short reaction time, environmentally friendly reaction media, and recyclable catalyst. All the synthesized
