Benzothiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolin-1-ones have been synthesized by a multicomponent reaction of substituted 2-aminobenzothiazoles with cyclic -diketone and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of absolute ethanol. The structures of the synthesized benzothiazoloquinazolinones have been characterized by elemental analysis and spectral studies.
