  Bei einem Verfahren zum Ausfällen von Ligninsulfonaten aus Sulfitablaugen entsteht durch Zugabe von Polykationen ein Fällungskomplex. Damit das Fällungsmittel regeneriert werden kann und für eine Wiederverwendung zur Verfügung steht, werden als Polykationen Polyimine mit einer geringeren Polarität als Polyäthylenimin eingesetzt, so daß der Fällungskomplex alkalilöslich ist und das Polyimin durch Extraktion mit organischen Lösungsmitteln zurückgewonnen werden kann. Dabei entsteht das Ligninsulfonat als reines konzentriertes Produkt.
