  萘并[b]环丙烯与三硫代羰基衍生物在氯仿中的反应通过[2π+2σ]型环加成过程以中等收率得到1,3-二氢苯并[2,3-c]噻吩衍生物。与二硫代碳酸酯化合物的类似反应得到原料的回收。与硫托酮反应产生 [8π+2σ] 型加合物，产率为 5%。溶剂对产物收率的影响表明反应是通过离子中间体进行的。

  Reactions of naphtho[b]cyclopropene with trithiocarbonyl derivatives in chloroform afforded 1,3-dihydrobenzo[2,3-c]thiophene derivatives in moderate yields through a [2π+2σ] type cycloaddition process.
