Provided is an optical element material characterized in being obtained by curing a resin composition for photoimprinting, wherein the content weight ratio of a photocurable monomer (A) represented by formula (1) and a photocurable monomer (B) represented by formula (2) is 30/70 to 87/13, and the content of a photopolymerization initiator (C) is 0.01 to 30 parts by weight per the total of 100 parts by weight of the photocurable monomer (A) and the photocurable monomer (B). Also provided is a method for producing the same.
In formula (1), R1 is a -CH=CH2, -CH2CH2-O-CH=CH2, -CH2CH2-O-CO-CH=CH2, -CH2CH2-O-CO-C(CH3)=CH2, -CH2-C(CH3) =CH2 or a glycidyl group; R2 and R3 are the same or different and are hydrogen or a C1-4 alkyl group. In formula (2), R4 and R5 are the same or different and -O-CH=CH2, O-CH2CH2-O-CH=CH2, -O-CO-CH=CH2, O-CO-C(CH3) =CH2, -O-CH2CH2-O-CO-CH=CH2, -O-CH2CH2 -O-CO-C(CH3) =CH2 or glycidyl ether groups. R6 and R7 are the same or different and are hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl groups.
