The synthesis of new 6-bromo- and 6,8-dibromo-2-[N-(2'-alkyl-1',3',4'-thiadizol-5'-yl)carbamoylmethylthio] -3-aryl/cyclohexyl-4-(3H)-quinazolones is described.
